Charlotte kid gifted leaf blower from landscaping business
US Lawns Charlotte gave James Schrafft his own leaf blower after helping the crew on several jobs in his neighborhood last fall.
CHARLOTTE, NC – If you ask 7-year-old James Schrafft what his favorite day of the week is, he will most likely say Thursday.
“I’ve blown in people’s yards,” said James Schrafft.
That’s because the Elon Park elementary school student can do what he loves most in his spare time that day.
“Before he could even speak, he looked out the window and watched them work outside,” said Jamie Schrafft
Every Thursday between his virtual zoom classes, James US Lawns would help Charlotte clean up yards while they are in his neighborhood.

But this Christmas the company decided to give something back to the little guy who gave his time to help.
“They came over, we had lunch together in the backyard and then pulled out the big box,” said Jamie Schrafft
A personal leaf blower that looks exactly like the one the workers use, but a smaller version.
“Excited!” James Schrafft said.
Excited that he is now the youngest member of the team and is coming to a farm near you.
