Landscaping firm acquired by listed group

A Harrogate-based landscaping and gardening equipment company has been acquired by a publicly traded agricultural services group.

Greentech Ltd is a manufacturer and distributor of landscaping, forestry and property maintenance equipment with around 2,500 customers.

It was acquired by Origin Enterprises, an agricultural services group that provides specialized on-farm agronomy services, digital agricultural services, and the delivery of plant technology and supplies.

Green tech is expected to enhance Origin’s amenity businesses and has potential in organic land management and biodiversity enhancement.
