The Israeli occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive trees, devastated civil land areas and demolished retaining walls in the Khillat al-Nahla area near the village of Wad Rahal south of Bethlehem.

The director of the Bethlehem Barrier and Settlement Resistance Authority’s office, Hassan Breijia, told the official agency that the occupation army stormed the Khallet al-Nahleh area, uprooted dozen of over 10-year-old olive trees, demolished land and demolished retaining walls.

He added that the area is being targeted by the occupation and their settlers to seize for settlement expansion purposes, noting that the “Efrat” settlement is being built nearby.

It is noteworthy that two days ago a group of settlers stormed Khallet al-Nahlah and grazed their sheep there before they were confronted by the citizens.
