Theft Suspects Target Gardeners’ Landscaping Equipment

San Fernando Valley: At least 3-4 suspects hit the San Fernando Valley and steal expensive equipment from gardeners in broad daylight. On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, around 10:00 a.m. in Toluca Lake, a group of three suspects (one driver, one in the passenger seat and one in the back of the van) in a white van with damage to the top jumped in the bright light Tag with bolt cutters out of the van and cut off the lock to secure over $ 2,200 worth of equipment for a landscaping crew. This happened in the field of vision of the gardeners and residents who were only a few meters away. A lookout vehicle appears to be keeping an eye on the situation (a dark charger or similar brand). The LAPD believes the same crew was responsible for a similar raid in Van Nuys later that day and possibly more in the area. The interviewed person is the homeowner named Jason Insalaco. If you have any information about any of these incidents, please contact North Hollywood Detectives.
